Dancers are divided into 3 levels: Junior Students, Intermediate-Advanced Students and Advanced Students/Teachers. Daily classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical and musical theatre incorporate technique, progressions across the floor, combination and routines. Prepare to grow and learn with our all-star faculty! Junior students also participate in “Footnotes”, a special end to the dance day where these young campers learn about auditions, stage make-up, tricks of the trade and more!
Please note – New this year – Advanced students ages 16 and over are combined with the Teacher’s room! Classes will be technically challenging for these advanced dancers while still providing teachers with classroom insights and useful material to “take back home”! The Intermediate-Advanced room is aimed at campers ages 12-15 and the Junior room is geared for the 8-11 year olds. Except for the Advanced Student minimum age of 16, the other age ranges are simply guidelines – we take into consideration your level and years of training when placing you in class.
Campers stay in hotel rooms with 4 students per room or 2 teachers per room. Caring counselors and nighttime security guards provide camper supervision at all times. Three meals a day are included with the exception of dinner only on the first day and breakfast only on the last day. |
